E. Brandon Robinson

Co-Founder And Chief Executive Officer

Brandon flew CF-18s in the Royal Canadian Air Force for two decades and managed capital projects up to $4B, including the F-35 acquisition. The co-author of several successful aerospace patents, he is at the vanguard of the Advanced Air Mobility movement, and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Royal Military College, as well as an MBA from Royal Roads University.

Chief Operating Officer

Deeply experienced in managing mission critical systems that ensure the security of all organizational processes and data, Jason drives our operational growth. He has managed multi-million dollar projects across healthcare, smart cities and air transportation, and deftly navigates the nexus of fundraising, cross-border M&A and enterprise strategy vital to this highly regulated industry.

Brian Merker CPA, CA

Chief Financial Officer

Bringing considerable multinational industry experience, Brian has strong technical capabilities in US GAAP/IFRS/ASPE with extensive reporting expertise in heavily regulated markets. From IPOs to private placements and highly-leveraged private equity environments, he has expertly overseen successful integrations and acquisitions, and is skilled at advancing both mid-sized and small organizations.

Stewart Lee

Head of People and Strategy

Stewart has been with us since 2013, specializing in team and culture cultivation. He served as HR Director of a national manufacturing company for over a decade, before starting his own HR consulting firm in 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, an MBA in Management from Royal Roads University, and has been a Chartered Professional in HR since 2009.

Trisha Nomura

Independent Director

Trisha is the owner of Ascend Consulting, LLC where she leverages her skills in leadership, accounting, human resources and operations to develop strategies and provide services for clients across various industries. Selected to attend the Leadership Academy of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) in 2012, she has spent 10 years with public accounting firms in Honolulu, and in 2014, joined Hawaii Human Resources, Inc. as Chief Operating Officer before the company’s acquisition by ProService Hawaii, where she was the Chief People Officer. A former member of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants board, AICPA recruitment committee and at-large council, Trisha believes a company’s greatest asset is their people, and advises clients on how to apply attraction, retention and talent management programs to their overall business strategy. Trisha holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Creighton University and a Master’s of Accountancy degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

John Maris

Independent Director

John is an engineering test pilot and program manager with almost thirty years of domain expertise since graduating from the USAF Test Pilot School in 1989. A 2018 Inductee of The Canadian Aviation Hall of Fame, he holds a doctorate in Aviation Safety and Human Factors and was named Canadian Defence Review’s 2017 Defence Executive of the Year. A Past Chair of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) and of the AIAC Small Business Committee, John was President of Marinvent Corporation and Advanced Aerospace Solutions – both high-tech aerospace R&D firms – and Principal Flight Test Investigator for NASA’s Traffic Aware Strategic Aircrew Requests (TASAR) program. His final military assignment was to the International Space Station Program at the Canadian Space Agency, directing a multi-disciplinary, multi-national team developing the Robotic Workstations that now control the Space Station’s Canadarm 2. John is also a post-graduate lecturer in aircraft and systems development and certification.

John Pinsent

Independent Director

John is a Chartered Professional Accountant. After a 10-year career with Ernst & Young LLC, he became a founding partner with St. Arnaud Pinsent Steman Chartered Professional Accountants in 2004. John serves as a board member of Enterprise Group, Inc., a Toronto Stock Exchange listed company that provides specialized infrastructure equipment and services to the energy, pipeline, and construction industries. He also sits on the board of directors of several private companies and supports numerous non-profit and philanthropic initiatives. He has deep experience serving as board and audit committee chairs, as well as in compliance and corporate governance in the public markets. Mr. Pinsent earned a BEd and BComm (AD) from the University of Alberta, has an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and became an FCPA in 2013.
